Our client is a major American E&C firm with global power projects. This is an expatriate position in Thailand for one to two years to complete a Feasibility Study Project for the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAD).  

 

The Senior Resident Executive Director in Bangkok, Thailand is responsible for completing the firm’s Feasibility Study Project for the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) providing, on a timely and cost effective manner, high quality reports that satisfy the contract requirements. You will be responsible for interfacing with and coordinating input from both EGAT and Thai Government (NPPDO) personnel for the existing contract tasks and their review of the deliverables. In this latter role, the Sr. Resident Executive Director is expected to cultivate relationships and gather information that will be useful in fulfilling his or her other role discussed below.

Senior Construction Engineer

Our client is a leading American full service engineering, procurement, construction, management and operations firm. They are looking for an experienced American Expat who can move to Korea for at least 2-5 years to manage the Accounting function for a major joint-venture program to help the US and Korean Governments move and consolidate several military bases in to a new base located about one hour South of Seoul. This division of the company designs, constructs, operates and maintains government and military facilities in almost every category of infrastructure at installations across the U.S. and around the world.  The project is a joint-venture with a major Korean firm that could be up to an $11-billion construction effort for infrastructure.

Reporting to the local Project Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire accounting operations for the Consortium and Joint Venture based in Korea.  You will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations, maintaining client relations, reporting appropriate financial statement and project accounting information the management and partners. The Program Controller/Accounting Manager will
