They are seeking a person who has a working knowledge of generating, maintaining and reporting project and program schedules. You will report directly to the Program Finance Team Leader managing detailed engineering schedules for Programme Managers and Project Engineers working as a key member of the program management team. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all scheduling information is received, processed, reported and circulated across a number of intercompany departments on a weekly and monthly basis.

Desired Skills & Experience:
This position has the responsibility for developing baseline plans, schedules and interrelationships for engineering and production tasks. You will review contractual requirements of programs to identify and ensure key internal and external milestones are highlighted in the schedules. You must have experience with such planning tools as Gantt and critical path method (CPM) network schedules. Your scheduling experience must include having worked with detailed engineering schedules that incorporate engineering work break down structures (WBS).

Reliability Centered Maintenance Engineer (RCM Engineer)

We have an immediate need for a RCM Engineer. Our client is a major American firm and a leader in providing base operations, maintenance, logistics, construction and related services to the US Government.  The individual filling this position will be working on a contract at the US Department of State Embassy in Bagdad.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

·        The RCM Engineer shall oversee the RCM program to ensure that all components and materials reach their median life expectancy, implementing a program that utilizes best commercial maintenance practices and that incorporates a combination of reactive, preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance programs.    Daily duties include, but are not limited to:

·        Act as Subject Matter Expert and provide leadership for the troubleshooting & failure analysis efforts, and the subsequent repair and replacement operations, related to breakdowns in the power plant, at the water chillers, fuel depot, water treatment plant or wherever needed to meet Contract obligations.

·        Analyze laboratory test results, performance results and reports from field staff to design a program that balances cost effectiveness with the need to maintain critical systems with no failures, and shall regularly review and revise the program to provide best service to the client.    Diagnose, calibrate or repair electric and pneumatic control systems in order to prepare reports and provide recommendations to achieve increased efficiencies.

·        Lead failed part analysis and advocate for advanced testing when advisable.

·        Maintain all plans, diagrams, drawing and reports relevant to the RCM program; produce required reports and provide technical input for other engineering and design issues on request.

·        Analyze architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire system diagrams or drawings for large facilities, assess system performance to design criteria, and suggest design improvements as necessary.

·        Familiar with operation and maintenance requirements of power plants, emergency generators, power grids and associated facility/utility Life Support Systems to identify system enhancements and revise/update RCM and O&M Plans.

·        Work independently and coordinate with the Chief Engineer and Operations Manager to obtain     assistance from system technicians and operators in regards to system performance criteria, equipment specifications, design criteria and operational effectiveness for the purpose of refining/updating the RCM Plan.

·        Will act as a back-up to the Chief Engineer or Assistant Chief Engineers in their absence.

Demonstrable Knowledge of the following is required in most of these areas to be considered for this position:

·        Mechanical systems such as pumps, fans & louvers, heat exchangers, bearing types and uses, refrigeration loops, HVAC systems, actuators & governors and  feedback control systems.

·        Electrical testing and inspection tools such as insulation testers, power factor testing, voltage, current and resistance testing, and thermography.

·        Hands-on field experience with monitoring & testing equipment as related to RCM requirements

·        Power generation including 2,240 HP diesel engines, 1MW+  alternators, bearing systems of the alternator and engine, their lubrication systems , fuel delivery systems, power transfer coupling systems, cooling systems, and the concepts related to the start-up, running, monitoring and shut-down of such power systems. 

·        Knowledge of motors, starters, transformers, load centers and wiring.

·        Skill with machine shop practices and tolerances and various machine shop measuring tools such as the micrometer, feeler gauges, ball gauge, dial indicator, and gauge and V-blocks.

·        Materials knowledge including those of:
Various types of metals, their hardness, resistance to corrosion, their properties under tensile, compressive and torsional load, their welding and machining qualities and their temperature withstand.
Various types of plastics, their chemical withstand, their temperature rating and typical usages.

·        Familiarity with the different kinds of oils and lubrications.

·        Knowledgeable about testing fuels and lubricants.

Minimum Acceptable Qualification Levels and Experience:

·        The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated experience in document development (plans & programs) related to O&M and RCM in a utilities equipment operations environment. Experience will include familiarity with RCM analysis, Failure Mode Effect Criticality Analysis (FMECA, and Predictive Testing and Inspection (PT&I).

·        He or she will have a minimum of five (5) years of progressive responsibilities and directly related field engineering support expertise, or equivalent experience.

·        CADD experience and proficiency is highly desirable.

·        Previous overseas experience is highly desirable.

·        BS Degree in a specific engineering or related technical field.

·        Must be able to read, write and speak English and read English building and technical diagrams.

·        Security Requirement: Minimum of a Secret Clearance within scope of the project.

 

*Please note:  Both the hazard pay and per diem are received while the employee is in country only and will not apply while on R&R.  The completion bonus will be received upon successful completion of the one year contract.  The completion bonus is equivalent to two months base pay.  The travel allowance will cover the costs for flights only when going on R&R.  The contract is 12 months and is renewable.

Also, provides technical evaluation/recommendation for turbines and the UPS/DC system.

Minimum Requirements: As the successful candidate you will hold a Science/Engineering degree from a recognized and approved program. Must have a minimum of nine years of practical experience in Distributed Control Systems, Plant Security and Networks, tuning controllers, transmitter selection, and point-to-point field wiring for instrumentation and associated power. Areas of expertise should include Foundation Fieldbus, compressor control and anti-surge protection systems, development of ESD ladder or functional logic sequences, boiler and compressor controls, analyzer systems, DCS, SCADA and third party associated interfaces. Must also have project experience from design stage to construction and commissioning. Good interpersonal skills, including ability to contribute in a team environment and work independently.

We are seeking a Corrosion Control Engineer to work with the Shaybah Producing Engineering Division under the Shaybah Producing Department. The Shaybah Producing Department (SyPD) is responsible for producing Arab Extra Light crude oil (AXL), separate gas from oil and transfer oil to Abqaiq. The Shaybah Producing Engineering Division is one of the three divisions in SyPD. This division is responsible in providing eingineering services of all Shaybah Plants and facilities.

The primary role of the Corrosion Control Engineer is to conduct special studies and analyses in a specialized corrosion control field, such as cathodic protection, water treatment, chemical inhibition or materials selection. Also, provides specialized technical corrosion control services and consultation.

Minimum Requirements: As the successful candidate you will hold a Science/Engineering degree from a recognized and approved program. Minimum of 7 years in corrosion control experience in the petroleum or petrochemical industry.

The candidate is expected to be able to perform the following:

Participate in Risk Based Inspections (RBIs) due at Shaybah GOSP-4 CPF and satellite GOSP-3.
Determine dosing rates and monitor the effectiveness of chemical injection requirements at all Plants and Sabkhas. Participate in equipment inspections during T&I. Perform project and design package reviews for plant modifications, major construction and RBIs. Involvement in the Cathodic Protection program throughout allReview results and provide recommendations following In-Line Inspection (ILI) of 33 oil trunklines currently in progress. Provide expert advice and assistance to design, construction, operations and maintenance personnel on matters pertaining to a corrosion control area. Perform special studies in corrosion control. Evaluate data as to scope, impact and long-range cost effectiveness on existing and planned facilities, and coordinate the preparation of reports. Provide evaluation data on the capabilities of corrosion control vendors and contractors. Review operations and monitoring activities associated with corrosion control facilities to identify needed system modifications or procedural changes.
Keeps current with significant developments in corrosion control, with emphasis on incumbent's area of speciality, through technical literature, participation in professional and industry society meetings, etc.

· To be proficient in techniques and methodologies to determine the reliability of components, equipment, and processes considering the impacts on availability, repair/replacement costs and spare parts inventory optimization

· To be practiced in reliability modeling, RCM, FMEA and criticality techniques in the selection and use of Maintenance Root Cause Analysis and facilitation

· An appropriate mechanical/engineering qualification and background
· Ideally at least a minimum of 3 years working experience with computerised maintenance management systems
· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
· Power generation plant knowledge or related industrial experience (would be advantageous)
