is expanding, and needs a Shop Manager to support their new,
state-of-the-art CNG powered fleet (130 vehicles). Will supervise 25
mechanics. Bilingual Spanish
required. Must be familiar with PC
base diagnostic programs, DOT regs, and be able to analyze and troubleshoot
hydraulic, electrical and mechanical problems in heavy duty class 8 type
vehicles. Minimum 5 years experience in vehicle repair/maintenance, 5 years
management experience, preferably in a multi-cultural environment, is

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING OPERATIONS MANAGER

Manage all
activities related to operations and development of company products.
Develops and maintains manufacturing operations business plan to include
all program requirements, labor hours, cycle, production costs, and image.
Provides input to the development of product strategy and research and
development of new and emerging products. Establishes production and
quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and obtains
data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of
products ordered. Provides guidance to the development of a manufacturing
process plan, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract
requirements, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needs. Ensures all
established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met. Coordinates
manufacturing activities with all other functions of the organization and
suppliers to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources,
machines, and equipment. Reviews production and operating reports and
directs the resolution of operational, manufacturing, and maintenance
problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operation delays. Performs
administrative activities associated with the effective management of shop
operations, including compiling, storing and retrieving production data for
reports. Determines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff
positions to accomplish business objectives. Trains and ensures all
assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and
customer policies, procedures, and regulations, administrative activities

Process Engineer

Evaluate and further develop company's manufacturing process,
as relating to coating, surface finishing, and heat treatment. Conduct
in-house research and development for coating technology, in particular for
high-end racing market segments. Work with Quality Department to improve
inspection processes and supplier performance on materials, outside
processes. Provide technical analyses for make-or-buy decisions on various
heat treatment and coating processes. Review work orders for accurate
coating and surface finishing. Prepare and implement equipment investments
as relating to coating, surface finishing, and heat treatment. Promote shop
safety practices and policies. Willingness to support training and
cross-functioning efforts. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Maintain
documents and records as required by company's quality management system.
Adhere to company’s Quality Procedures. Req. BS in Physics,
Mechanical or Industrial Engineering plus 5 years of work experience.

Operations Manager

Client is a `direct sales` nutritional
supplements and skin care company (such as Amway or Herbalife). Looking for
someone from that industry to manage the day-to-day EU operations. Will be
part of the European management team and will be instrumental in driving
growth, stability and profitability throughout Europe.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Working with management team to map out a strategic
operating plan to meet revenue and profitability goals. Review ongoing
performance results to target, takes corrective action when needed.
Establish operations standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality
and on-time delivery. Evaluate the current supply chain in Europe and take
action to improve and streamline operations where appropriate. Identify and
execute cost improvements, shorten lead-times, evaluate customer base, etc.
Identify and implement changes in process to avoid operational bottlenecks.
Participate in vendor negotiations to ensure cost efficiency. Improve
overall operations performance. Will have responsibility for small call
center, IT, and logistics of products distributed in Europe but
manufactured elsewhere.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business management,
international relations or related field plus 5 years progressively
responsible work experience related to international business operations.
Ideal candidate will be a strategic, hands-on business leader with a proven
track record of success. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Familiar with nutritional/personal care industry with established industry
contacts. Action-oriented and hands-on operating style with leadership
presence. Broad business experience with a strong customer focus.
Understanding of supply chain organization dealing with inventory, shipping,
distribution and warehouse operations. Ability to ensure systems are in
place to manage in a data-driven manner; ability to execute against a
budget. Strong verbal and written communication skills. English language
skills. Ability to travel when necessary.
