Responsible for the Safe, Efficient and Effective management of all maintenance work requests from operations and support groups. Ensures internal customers receive timely and quality service so that production requirements are met. Maintains zero incident mindset and ensures safety compliance of wage personnel and maintenance contractors.

 

Provides direct oversight to maintenance mechanical and electrical lead persons in the execution of daily maintenance of plant equipment. Will be responsible for development and implementation of small capital projects for preserving and upgrading the site's assets. Small operational capital improvement projects will also be part of the position responsibilities. This involves scope preparation, estimating, and executing projects within budget and on time. Responsible for contractor safety, coordinates work, and ensures services requested are completed as requested and at appropriate cost. Responsible for working with Reliability Engineer in analyzing equipment failures and working with Maintenance Engineer/Planner to implement continuous improvement to eliminate repetitive and costly failures. Responsible for managing monthly maintenance and cost center spending and implementing corrective actions to maintain spending at budget. Assists in annual budget preparation. Provides communication on status of maintenance activities to appropriate stakeholders via reports, and oral and written communications where and when appropriate. Monitors Maintenance Process Improvement KPI's to improve the maintenance process and other SAP reports. Also responsible for maintaining data in SAP to document daily maintenance activities.

 

Requires B.S. Degree in Engineering in addition to 5+ years experience in an industrial plant maintenance role. Significant knowledge of mechanical and instrumented equipment and their maintenance. Must have technical competencies of troubleshooting, root cause failure analysis, work planning and estimating, and user knowledge of maintenance computer management systems (i.e. SAP). This client is a LNG (liquid natural gas) and CNG (compressed natural gas) firm that is undergoing a rapid expansion to construct the infrastructure needed to allow fleets, municipalities, mid-size companies and large fleet operators to take advantage of the benefits offered by alternative fuels.

The Lead Process Engineer will be responsible to coordinate the Process and Safety & Firefighting Discipline (Process Discipline Lead) in performing relevant Basic, Feed and Detailing Engineering in the areas of business of storage plants (tank farms) and associated balance of plant (B.O.P.), process skids / modules (Onshore), cryogenic plants, desalinization units.

Main activities of the Process and Safety & Firefighting Discipline are: Preparation, review and control of PFD's; Preparation, review and control of P&IDs; Preparation, review and control of the Process Basis of Design; Process definition/specification of equipment; Development of process calculations (H&M balance, equipment sizing, line sizing, PSV's discharge flowrate, process data definition for the other disciplines, firefighting water demand, etc.); Preparation and attendance to HAZID's, HAZOP's (in this respect the Process Lead is the responsible to define the Third Party / Safety Consultant, unless already imposed contractually, in preparation of the HAZID/HAZOP session/(s), relevant execution and follow-up); Preparation of the process C&E Matrix; Preparation of the Process Narratives; Participation in the definition and review of the 3D modelling. This position is responsible for ensuring the stability and integrity of Enterprise voice, data, and video and wireless network services. This is achieved by planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization

Specific Job Description:

Effectively plans, designs, and develops local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization to ensure the stability of voice, data, and video, and wireless network services. Establishes network policies and procedures. Benchmarks, analyzes, reports on, and makes recommendations for the improvement on voice, data, and video and wireless network services.

Leads a team of Network Engineers for network planning, project planning, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources. Oversees provision of network services. This will ensure compliance with corporate procurement policies and provide the best overall service value and material total cost of ownership. Ensures safety policies and procedures are properly integrated into the TAR planning and adhered to during TAR execution. Oversees the development and execution of TAR logistics processes. Effective TAR logistics are essential to achieve TAR budget and schedule targets. Optimizes TAR work scope by facilitating scope reviews and by identify scope that can be moved outside the TAR window. Optimizing scope should both reduce TAR spending and also ensure facility post start-up operating objectives are achieved. Establishes, tracks, and reports on TAR performance KPI's. The use of KPI's will help in identifying the effectiveness of the planning effort and identify areas for improvement. Supervises day-to-day work during the TAR execution phase. A key component to the successful execution of a TAR is providing the necessary day-to-day guidance and decision making. Captures TAR "Lessons Learned" and fully accesses the TAR after completion. This will help in efforts to continuously improve future TAR performance. Occasionally required to temporarily relocate to the other major site to support turnaround activities.

Qualifications: Bachelors of Science degree in mechanical, civil, electrical, or chemical engineering required. 10+ years maintenance supervision experience in a Petrochemical and/or Refining manufacturing
facility. In depth knowledge of maintenance work execution for all types of crafts typically used in such facilities is required. In depth knowledge and experience in the planning and execution of large (> $10M) turnarounds is required. Develop systems to support uptime of instrumentation, and related personnel training for both operation and preventative maintenance activities. Responsible for the periodic review of these systems, and exercise necessary changes, if any, to ensure they are meeting the intended goals.
Instrumentation and analytical techniques assessed for criticality. As a result, this person will decide when criticality tables will need to be changed or updated. Systems used to generate data for key APC operations and regulatory reporting functions are managed with great concern for reliability and accuracy.
Calibrations and related documentation are aligned with customer; USEPA, OEM, State Regulatory Agencies, etc. Test frequencies, cost and requirements are considered in meeting these expectations and changes are made as necessary.  Scheduling and resource management decisions in support of shift supervision. Complex decisions reviewed by more senior personnel.

Know-how:  This person requires a technical background with the expectation that they possess the ability to work with people and have a true passion for sharing their knowledge and teaching others. They should demonstrate a history of active participation in areas such as; fuels blending, EPA/ASTM testing procedures and applications to refinery production, exploring technical articles for advances in laboratory technique and related field engineering advancements to actively support both personal growth and better position the business.
