Basic Function and Scope:

Plans, coordinates and monitors overall engineering support to the existing and new facilities, including offshore, LNG plants, refinery of offsite facilities, covering process engineering, facilities engineering, instrument & electrical engineering and discipline engineering activities. Key activities include troubleshooting, engineering studies and engineering support to projects. Minimum Requirements:

c. Experience with process simulation, P&ID development, conceptual and detailed design, including experience with other than process engineering disciplines are essential.
d. Must be conversant with use of process simulation and design packages and in the development of equipment process specifications.
e. Must have a minimum of 4 years of management experience at Section Head level.

This position is responsible for the assistance of the director for strategic planning, technical support and management of the operational excellence program within our CO2 company, which includes oil & gas and pipeline operations. The successful candidate will work closely with the Operations and EHS directors, business development, finance and administration groups. The position is responsible for providing direction in operational excellence functions, engineering support to technically challenging projects and technical assistance to business development activities. This is a new group and successful candidate will assemble the operational excellence team from internal and external sources. Our CO2 Co. has grown from a distributable cash flow of $60 million per year to $500 million per year and needs to asses the current practices against various assets within the CO, compare to industry best practices and establish improvement goals. The new engineer must work closely with multiple levels of line management to achieve progress. In addition, the new group will provide more structured support to business development. * Operational Excellence * Strategic plan development for the Operational Excellence program. * Standardizing business unit specific operating procedures in accordance with corporate standards. * Standardizing operational training. * Preparation of business unit specific operations manuals. * Management of performance measures. * Investigate significant incidents.* Coordinate with similar functions within other Corp. business units. * Technical Excellence * Assist the operating groups improve performance in the four gas plants which process nearly 2 BCFD of CO2 and hydrocarbon gas. * Assist the operating group solve difficult production engineering problems such as conformance and others as they arise. * Stay abreast of new technical developments. * Business Development Support * Advise business development staff regarding the economics of oil and gas production acquisitions. * Assist BD with creating a carbon capture and storage business. . BS in Engineering or 5 years equivalent engineering experience with a Bachelors Degree This position requires extensive knowledge of operations and technology and must be able to manage disparate processes from standards generation to support of new business creation. Sr. Engineer, Rotating Equipment

We are looking for the right rotating equipment and pump/compression Senior Engineer to join our Operations Excellence group. The successful candidate will have the technical background and experience necessary to support a very large installed base of electric horsepower driving CO2 pumping systems and hydrocarbon gas compression at pressures to 2300psig. The right candidate would provide advanced support engineering services to both pipeline and upstream gas injection operations to ensure continuity of service, vibration and mechanical integrity, throughput optimization, uptime reliability and operational expense reduction. This is an ideal opportunity for the candidate who has over 20 years of experience and a successful track record providing engineering and support services for large driver/compressor implementations. Based in Houston or Midland, Texas. Objectives: - Provide senior expertise for selection of optimum driver/compressor and expansion layout considerations. - Assist plant managers to improve compression reliability and reduce unexpected maintenance issues due to damaged or run-to-failure equipment. - Recommend optimization regimes (procedural or mechanical) to improve on existing compression implementations. - Increase facility availability (thus increase volume processing and revenue). Job Requirements - Degree from accredited university in Mechanical or Hydraulic engineering (or very closely related discipline). - 20 years of experience designing and/or operating large compression implementations. - 5 years of experience engineering/designing Electric Rotating driver compressor or pump implementations. - Demonstrable experience developing/engineering large reciprocating re-injection compression facilities.
- Solid logical skills and biased toward action. - Good working knowledge of rotating pumps and rotating/reciprocating compression. - Experience with engineering capacity optimization and expansion on large compression systems. - Ability to work in a team. - 25% Travel to West Texas. - Must be able to take direction from supervisor(s), prioritize work schedule, focus attention on details and follow rules. Preferred Experience - Additional gas turbine/centrifugal compression engineering knowledge preferred.

Sr. Staff Reservoir Engineer

Job Responsibilities Company is currently seeking a Senior Petroleum Engineer to support our anthropogenic CO2 business. * Support to the Business Development team including: * Review of field performance. * Routine analysis of production and production problems. * Technical support in both surface and subsurface issues. * Economic Evaluation of Oil and Gas Fields. * Building EOR Flooding Scenarios.

Requirements Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Geosciences * 10 to 15 years of technical experience with an oil and gas company, much of it gained in an operating environment. * Ability to lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team to influence and deliver appropriate technical advice and solutions. * Ability to explore and apply lateral thinking/innovative approaches to problems. * All round skills and experienced required, from sub-surface technicalities to operations with a clear understanding of the business drivers. * Excellent communicator with the team, operations, and commercial groups. * Able to work in a fast paced environment, frequently under pressure, on multiple tasks. * Well developed interpersonal skills. * Well versed in presentation and negotiating skills. * Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisors, keep required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules.
