The WPS Engineer provides assistance to WPS management with respect to SH&E compliance and issues. The Position champions continuous improvement efforts for WPS equipment and workflows in the following key areas: Dust Reduction, Ergonomics, Equipment Reliability and Reduced Maintenance Costs.

Job Responsibilities: Own the programming and control of the Moellers palletizer and hooder system. Establish and monitor metrics for improving WPS equipment reliability and personnel productivity. Establish and consolidate packaging specifications for the site to improve productivity and reduce costs. Facilitate WPS best practices and identification of areas for improvement. Share best practice knowledge with other facilities. Evaluate and recommend the introduction of new and innovative packaging technologies and systems. Requirements: Industrial or Mechanical Engineering Degree or Similar 3-5 Years Experience with Packaging and Palletizing Type Equipment. Knowledge of warehouse management systems and practices; packaging equipment and packaging techniques, material handling equipment including but not limited to pneumatic, screw, belt, roller and gravity feed conveying, palletizing equipment, fork trucks, and automated guided vehicles, in-line printing equipment, and manufacturing methods and capabilities. The individual needs to have detailed knowledge (theory and application) of occupational safety and environmental disciplines, specifically air and waste, or capability to develop the same. Principal Responsibilities


1. Maintain and monitor EH&S compliance programs for assigned units while optimizing effectiveness and efficiency of the programs.

2. Ensure on time site applicable reporting, to appropriate regulatory agencies, ie. OSHA, EPA, LDEQ.

3. Maintain written EH&S programs and procedures for assigned units.

4. Lead and/or participate in investigation and root cause analysis for on-site incidents. Serve as site administrator for electronic incident system.

5. Participate in capital project reviews of assigned facility consistent with the level of EHS expertise needed.

6. Support site emergency response activities through the development of required drills and coordination of annual training.

7. Prepare materials for shift safety meetings and facilitate staff safety meetings.

8. Develop unit specific training packages for regulatory changes, new or modified permit conditions, or targeted KPI enhancements.

9. Provide environmental regulatory interpretation for assigned facility's operational and maintenance activities.

10. Provide input to Hub EHS Team Leader and interface with regulatory agencies and third parties as needed, on permitting, compliance and enforcement issues.

11. Active participation with the EHS Community.

12. Provide appropriate Corporate EHS training tracks for employees.

13. Schedule and perform appropriate IH monitoring as scheduled or needed.

They have an immediate opening for a Procurement / Purchasing Manager. This individual will be responsible for the direction of all the procurement/purchasing, planning, and inventory control for their facility. They will be responsible for departmental performance, corrective/preventive actions, and must have strong leadership skills.


· Lead the site procurement / purchasing function and focuses on continuous improvement in regards to production planning, and inventory control. This includes but is not limited to: the integration of services between related departments, enhancing system controls, and cost reductions for supplied materials.
· Plans and implement activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials.
· Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures and implement solutions.

· Purchasing experience with electrical or mechanical components (wire, metals, housings, pneumatic/hydraulics, electronics, etc) strongly preferred. Experience working for a custom manufacturer is a plus.
· Must have strong negotiation skills with a proven record of success
· Global interactions. Experience managing domestic / international suppliers (Asia Emphasis). Low Cost Region Sourcing (LCS) desired (China, Southeast Asia, India, etc)
· Experience implementing global sourcing initiatives and driving/executing cost reduction programs
· APICS Certification preferred
· Strong managerial / leadership skills required (experience doing performance appraisals etc). Must be a strong communicator and have excellent problem-solving skills.

The individual will also work with key project development teams to insure that the supply base is in place to allow projects to occur on time and within budgeted parameters. Other key responsibilities include:

- Manage sourcing strategy teams that are responsible for supplier relations for key strategic suppliers and categories of spend. Must be capable of creating a centralized purchasing function at this facility. Currently all purchasing is fragmented among departments and the company feels there are missed opportunities for cost savings by not having a purchasing professional at the helm to negotiate best prices from various vendors.  Must be capable of establishing procedures, negotiating blanket purchases when appropriate, and implementing effective sourcing initiatives in order to secure the best prices for raw materials.  Preferred candidate will have 10-20 years of purchasing experience, along with a stable work history, most of which should be at the plant level.
Annual purchasing volume is in the $50-60 million range. 


A four-year degree is required along with a stable work history and excellent verbal and written skills. Requirements:  You will have of a Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of experience in materials related function such as purchasing, supply chain, materials management, etc. Your experience should include coordination of purchasing, production scheduling, logistics, and inventory control. You should have hands-on purchasing experience in a high volume repetitive manufacturing environment. You should have a strong technical aptitude, problem resolution skills, multi-group leadership & managerial experience. You should have leadership experience of cross functional materials departments.
