Provide first aid treatment to injured employees if possible. Ensure timely, complete, and accurate personnel injury reporting and paperwork. Compile, analyze, and prepare job site safety management data and reports for management. Maintain site specific MSDS log book.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

3+ years of experience in safety planning and execution. Knowledge of safety practices in the construction and engineering field. Ability to analyze data and implement strategies to maximize safety. Ability to train and motivate team to focus on safety. Well organized with analytical abilities to determine areas for safety improvement. Equivalent work experience in construction or engineering safety, and/or CHST, ASP or OSHA 500 Certified to train OSHA 10 and 30 hour Experience in Petrochemical, Power, Heavy Industrial preferred ISN experience Construction site environment (commercial, industrial, process plants)

The General Manager will be responsible for the operational and financial development & management of the California business unit. Looking for a person with vision & high level of motivation who can develop goals, implement & manage changes to reach those goals, and motivate, support & develop a team to achieve those goals.  The ideal profile is someone with 10-15 years’ experience with oilfield engineered products who has a strong and proven record of showing top line growth and keeping a company profitable. Primary responsibilities include:
 
Planning Administration: Provide leadership and vision to the organization by assisting the board and staff with the development and implementation of short and long term plans. Develop & prepare progress report on meeting of the short and long term goals (and creates supporting analysis documents & proposals on how to achieve goals as needed). Able to effectively manage change.
 
HR Management: Determine staffing requirements, interview & hire new employees, employee development, performance management and improvement systems, employment & compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting. Review of financial statements and development of productivity/sales performance measurements to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
 
Production/QC:  Ensure accurate documentation of production and QC data/records. Direct and oversee site production activities and personnel, ensure high safety standards at all times. Direct production activities to ensure safety and compliance with quality control standards, regulatory compliance and lease agreements. Ensure good housekeeping at site at all times.
 
Administrative Management:  Ensure client and vendor file integrity (documents, analytical information, communication notations etc.). Maintain general oversight and ensure accuracy of records (A/R, A/P, Inventory etc.). Assist in development of tools to increase company efficiency and risk management. Monitor businesses/agencies and ensure they efficiently and effectively provide needed services while staying within budgetary limits.
 
Sales Management: Active involvement in customer satisfaction process. Develops and shapes sales strategy, provides vision and direction for outside sales team as required. Creates measurable goals and implements progress reporting based on goals to communicate with both company sales team and manufacturers/suppliers as needed. Research and develop new opportunities for revenue based on voice of the customer.
 
Work Experience: Minimum of 15 years of related business experience with a track record of successful management of a profitable organization. Direct supervision/management experience a must. Self-starter who can operate with little direct supervision. Ability to work in a team setting, high level of positive motivational skills with strong leadership qualities. Excellent listening skills, with the ability to show empathy when required. Looking for someone who can observe & understand how people are motivated, and work to develop roles according to strengths. Excellent customer service skills and problem solving ability. Strong ability to multi-task with excellent follow-up and follow through ability. High level of consistency extremely important.
