The General Manager will be responsible for the operational and financial development & management of the California business unit. Looking for a person with vision & high level of motivation who can develop goals, implement & manage changes to reach those goals, and motivate, support & develop a team to achieve those goals.  The ideal profile is someone with 10-15 years’ experience with oilfield engineered products who has a strong and proven record of showing top line growth and keeping a company profitable. Primary responsibilities include:
Planning Administration: Provide leadership and vision to the organization by assisting the board and staff with the development and implementation of short and long term plans. Able to effectively manage change.

Direct production activities to ensure safety and compliance with quality control standards, regulatory compliance and lease agreements. Ensure good housekeeping at site at all times.
Administrative Management:  Ensure client and vendor file integrity (documents, analytical information, communication notations etc.). Maintain general oversight and ensure accuracy of records (A/R, A/P, Inventory etc.). Assist in development of tools to increase company efficiency and risk management. Monitor businesses/agencies and ensure they efficiently and effectively provide needed services while staying within budgetary limits.
Sales Management: Active involvement in customer satisfaction process. Develops and shapes sales strategy, provides vision and direction for outside sales team as required. Creates measurable goals and implements progress reporting based on goals to communicate with both company sales team and manufacturers/suppliers as needed. Research and develop new opportunities for revenue based on voice of the customer.
Work Experience: Minimum of 15 years of related business experience with a track record of successful management of a profitable organization. Direct supervision/management experience a must. Self-starter who can operate with little direct supervision. Ability to work in a team setting, high level of positive motivational skills with strong leadership qualities. Excellent listening skills, with the ability to show empathy when required.
